Featured alongside destinations like Vail, Beaver Creek and Stowe in Family Circle magazine’s Mountains of Family Fun story in the June issue (page 87), Crystal Mountain lives up to the title with new amenities, activities and adventures this summer.

NEW! Downhill Mountain Bike Trails via Loki-Quad chairlift
The terrain so popular with skiers and snowboarders now offers an adrenaline rush in the summer with four newly cut downhill mountain bike trails. Accessible from the Loki-Quad chairlift ($20 all-day lift pass), three trails include tight corners and features like log piles, drop jumps, ramps and two manmade portable jumps at the base of the mountain with the fourth appealing to the cross-country rider.

NEW! Mountain Bike Camps and Lessons
A beginner (13 and older) Mountain Bike Camp will be held August 4-5 with a Women-only Camp, August 11-12. Cost for the two-day camp is $199 and includes mountain bike rental. Two-hour private (from $59), semi-private (from $49) and group (from $39) mountain bike lessons are available all summer long. Need a bike? NEW! Another 100 feet of Alpine Slide
The addition of the Loki-Quad chairlift, and its new location at the base of the slopes, necessitated an additional 100 feet of track on the Crystal Coaster Alpine Slide. Michigan’s only alpine slide is set to open on Memorial Day Weekend.

NEW! Hooked for Life
Crystal Mountain is partnering with Captain Ben Wolfe of Wolfe Outfitters to explore one of the country’s most diverse fisheries. On-premise casting clinics are available for free. NEW! Lake Michigan Comes to Michigan Legacy Art Park
