Celebrating the 25th National Holiday Observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History: Remembering the Legacy of Dr. King and Detroit's Historic 1963 Walk to Freedom.
The event is Monday January 17, 2011. Doors open at 7 a.m. Valet parking available. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Breakfast begins promptly at 8 am in the Rotunda.
Speakers & performers at 9 am in the GM Theater. Guest Speaker: Rev. Dr. Byron C. Moore, Historic Ebenezer A.M.E. Church of Detroit. Musical selections by Armond Jackson and Friends, and the Revelation Dancers.
