inTech RV to debut the Luna Rover Off-Road Camper on Facebook

inTech RV will be releasing its latest lightweight camper, called the Luna Rover, at 8 p.m. tonight (Aug. 16) on a live Facebook event.

Rover is based on the Luna Lite but carries with it greater off-road capabilities. More than just bigger tires and a few flashy accessories, Rover features an all-aluminum, all-tube, fully welded cage frame providing the absolute strongest chassis available in the industry.

“Customers have been asking for an off-road version of our Luna camper since the introduction,” stated Rich Schnippel, director of RV operations at inTech.

The Luna Rover takes advantage of a Dexter torsion axle, LT235/75R15 off-road tires, tubular aluminum steps and bumper and a custom-built tubular roof rack with adjustable cross-members to meet the requirements of just about any outdoorsmen’s activities. Sporty off-road graphics put the finishing touches on Rover.

Schnippel admitted, “Originally, we didn’t even think to create an off-road version of Luna, we felt it was an upscale modified teardrop camper with a civilized pedigree, but customers were immediately asking for the off-road version, so it was a natural transition to deliver what the public wanted.”

Luna Rover rounds out the product model line that is shared with the original Luna and the Luna Lite which debuted earlier this year.
