Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in South Haven, Michigan, is offering discounted rates for camping and lodging during their Super Heroes Weekend, May 20-22.

South Haven Jellystone offers an annual celebration in honor of National Armed Forces Day (Third Saturday in May) which is celebrated this year on May 21st.  In Yogi Bear's eyes there are many Heroes in this world, so if you serve in the Armed Forces, Public Safety (Fire, Police, EMS), Nurses, Doctors, and Teachers then you qualify for 25% off camping during that weekend. All you have to do is show your current ID showing your affiliation.

Again this year South Haven Jellystone will offer its Hometown Civilian Heroes 50% off their camping to express our appreciation for their commitment in the community.  If you live in South Haven, Bangor or Grand Junction, then you will receive 50% off your camping for that weekend.

This year South Haven Jellystone is taking it one step farther for those that are not able to camp with them that weekend. Local Heroes from South Haven, Bangor, or Grand Junction can come to the Cartoon Café for a free lunch, on Sunday, May 22nd from Noon to 3pm.  As a way to thank the local heroes, they can come in for a Hunk of Hunt Brothers Pizza or a 2 pc Broaster's Chicken Dinner, either dinner comes with a small drink.  Local heroes can show a valid ID and/or be in uniform to receive their free lunch.

All of our activities that weekend will be tailored to embrace the courage shown in the line of duty by many different kinds of heroes.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp-Resort in South Haven, Mich., features 78 RV/Tent sites and 26 cabins and cottages.  The Cartoon Café is located onsite and offers Broasters Chicken, Hunt brothers Pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, breakfast foods, as well as offering an ice cream shoppe and espresso bar.  The Cartoon Cafe is open to the general public in season.  South Haven Jellystone Park is open for the season through Oct. 30.
