To heighten the content strategy, LiveOutdoors hired Managing Editor David Rosenfeld, who will also oversee the newly bolstered editorial staff. Rosenfeld’s love of adventure and vast experience in journalism has led him to cover a range of outdoor-centric assignments, including salmon fishing in Alaska, exploring a silver mine in Bolivia and investigating an off-the-grid community in the Arizona desert.

Also new to the LiveOutdoors team is lifelong outdoorsman and survival expert, Rich Wright. Having spent years learning primitive skills, Wright has been teaching earth/survival skills to children and adults for the last five years and spent nine years on the Tahoe Nordic Search and Rescue. An avid wildlife photographer, he is involved in several local organizations in pursuit of conservation and nature awareness.

To oversee the platform’s advertiser base, LiveOutdoors welcomes Andrew Macaulay as Sales Director. In this role Macaulay will further develop LiveOutdoors burgeoning client roster, which includes brand marketers such as RAM, Carhartt, BFGoodrich, Texas Tourism, Energizer, John Deere and REI. Macaulay, who worked for parent company Evolve Media in years past, also brings previous media sales experience with Carbon Media Group, Bonnier and Forbes. While at Carbon, he partnered with a variety of agencies and clients targeting outdoor enthusiasts through digital brand marketing
