Cedar Creek Settlement's holiday events are sure to please even Scrooge

CEDARBURG, WI -- Festive Friday Eve's celebrates our 19th annual series of five, free family-oriented, evening events during the holiday season at Cedar Creek Settlement. The Settlement features 25 unique shops; gift and specialty shops, antique stores, galleries, three restaurants, artists studios and the Cedar Creek Winery nestled in a restored 1864 woolen mill, festively adorned for the holidays with natural greenery, garlands, beribboned wreaths and thousands of tiny white lights. Free events. *Small admission fee for Christmas in the Country only.

Friday, Nov. 22, 5-9 pm “Christmas in Ireland”  Irish holiday traditions come to life. Guitarist/ singer and Belfast, Northern Ireland native Ian Gould brings his wit and traditional Irish songs mixed with music from the Beatles to U2. Dancers from the acclaimed Beglan Academy, led by former Riverdance lead and Irish native Sean Beglan will perform three sets. Celtic Harpist Mary Ann Miller will also perform from 6-8 pm. Irish food sampling as well as complimentary cider and cookies will be offered throughout the evening. Sample Cedar Creek Winery’s award-winning wines and Olive ‘n Vinnies olive oil and balsamic sampling. 

Friday, Nov. 29, 5-9 pm "Home for the Holidays"  Enjoy Thanksgiving weekend with visiting friends and family. Make It & Take It projects (free). Live Music with the Vic DiCristo Duo. Dancers from Lake Shore Dance will perform three vignette’s from The Nutcracker. Get Easy Entertaining Tips for the Holiday’s with Patty Ehlers Peterson from Larry’s Market. Wine Tasting. Complimentary cider and cookies. 

Friday, Dec. 6, 10 am-9 pm "Christmas in the Country" is Wisconsin's premier, nationally recognized Christmas boutique, featuring some of the finest Midwestern folk artists and Christmas artisans in a juried show. ***The show/sale runs Dec. 6-8. Admission: $3.

Friday, Dec. 13, 5-9 pm “Santa's Workshop"  Visit with Santa Claus in his winter wonderland. Live music featuring “Songs of the Season” by David HB Drake. Children’s holiday ornament craft and cookie decorating (free). Wine Tasting. Olive oil & balsamic tasting. Complimentary cider and cookies.

Friday, Dec. 20, 5-9 pm “A Taste of Christmas"  A night for grown-ups to leisurely shop in a festive atmosphere. . Live vintage holiday tunes by singer Ed Franks in the mode of Sinatra, Bobby Darin and Bing Crosby. The glamorous quartet Swizzle Chix will perform their songs while strolling through the shops. Complimentary munchies provided by merchants and Cedar Creek Winery wine tasting.
