From October 1 through November 17, come see some of the best action movies IMAX offers. In TORNADO ALLEY 3D, join Storm Chasers star Sean Casey, from the view inside his VORTEX-2 Tornado Intercept Vehicle (TIV), and become part of his ambitious project to film the birth of one of nature’s most violent storms from America’s Midwest—the severe weather capital of the world.

RESCUE 3D brings guests to the front lines with the highly-trained first responders from the Nevada National Guard and Canadian Forces Marine Command as they put their lives on the line to answer the call when disaster strikes. Starting with the Berlin airlift in 1948, this inspiring film takes you up to the present as rescuers respond to the Haiti earthquake, one of the deadliest ever recorded in the Western Hemisphere.

Gear up with Everest climber Conrad Anker in CONQUEST OF EVEREST: The Wildest Dream, to retrace the route taken in 1924 by George Mallory and partner Sandy Irvine, whose goal was to be the first to summit the world’s tallest mountain, but disappeared just 800 feet from their goal. Seventy-five years later, it was Anker who found Mallory’s body. This powerful film explores the man behind the Mallory legend and Anker’s 2007 quest to honor one of the world’s greatest explorers.

Welcome to an underwater world that holds some of the planet’s most fascinating creatures and mysterious landscapes. CORAL REEF ADVENTURE features veteran ocean explorers Howard and Michele Hall bring their love of the ocean into action with this film that captures the dazzling underwater world of the South Pacific’s coral reefs, as well as sobering images of reefs in decline.

Journey back to 1804 in LEWIS & CLARK: GREAT JOURNEY WEST. Come along as Lewis and Clark set off from St. Louis to explore the vast western lands bought by President Thomas Jefferson in the Louisiana Purchase a year earlier. Facing wild animals, cold and near-starvation, they meet the Native American woman Sacajawea, who guides their epic journey to completion.
