New for '19: Winnebago launches Vita, Porto, Adventurer, Micro Minnie fifth-wheel & Spyder

Winnebago Motorhomes and Towables has launched several new products at this year’s Winnebago Open House event in Elkhart, Indiana. Additions to the motorhome lineup include the Class C Vita and Porto and the Class A gas Adventurer. Winnebago Towables is introducing the Micro Minnie 5th Wheel and the Spyder Toy Hauler.

VITA & PORTO
A compact Class C diesel built on the Mercedes Benz Sprinter chassis, the Vita and Porto offer quality and innovation customers have come to expect from Winnebago at an affordable price. Both products are equipped with best in class storage, tank sizes and carrying capacity. Other features include a new quiet, durable Supershell composite sleeper deck, a new prewired track and roof panel for Wi-Fi and cellular boost antenna systems and industry leading off the grid capabilities.
The interiors are highlighted by a best in class galley with large counter space, double sink, ample storage and a big panoramic window. The Vita and Porto are available in two floorplans – the 24P and 24F.
“At under 25 feet, the Vita and Porto allow you the freedom to explore everything from a major metropolitan area to a remote forest,” said Russ Garfin, product manager. “Throughout the coaches, we have implemented features for customers who are looking for a high-quality, easy to drive, durable and efficient base camp to support mobile and active lifestyles.”

ADVENTURER
The all-new Adventurer is the definition of Winnebago Class A Gas luxury. Built with Winnebago’s legendary SuperStructure, the Adventurer offers styling and floorplans to meet a variety of tastes and needs. It is packed with interior features normally found in diesel pushers like: Corian countertops, a Versa driver cab seat and Primera furniture coverings. Key exterior features include an entertainment center, pet leash tie down, an LP system provided in the patio area of the coach and full body paint with chrome mirrors.
“The Adventurer is packed with user-friendly features, and more value than ever before,” said Director of Sales Niles Whitehouse. “Family-friendly floorplans offer spacious living, and ample storage space to provide all the comforts of home.”
The Adventurer is available in five floorplans – the 27N, 30T, 33C, 35F and 36Z.

SPYDER
Winnebago re-enters the toy hauler segment with the launch of the new Spyder product line.
The Spyder product line will consist of four travel trailer and two fifth wheel floorplans. The absence of wheel wells allows for more compact vehicle storage and its overhead cabinet design extends to the ceiling.
“The end user was our main focus. We included several functional features that will be appreciated long after the thrill of the purchase,” said Ron Brown, Engineering Manager.
Large windows increase ventilation and an innovative in-ceiling ducted air conditioning system provides a cooling breeze in varying weather conditions. On display at the Open House event, is the 28KS floorplan which includes a master bedroom wardrobe slide, dual entry bathroom, and a spacious galley slide.

MICRO MINNIE FIFTH-WHEEL
Capitalizing on the success and industry leading growth of the seven-foot wide, Micro Minnie trailer, Winnebago Towables is extending the concept into the fifth-wheel market with the introduction of the Micro Minnie fifth-wheel.
“While the industry promotes 7,000, 8,000, and even 9,000 pound fifth-wheels as half-ton towable, the new Micro Minnie fifth-wheel in the 5,000 pound category will not only be best in class, but also work with the rapidly growing midsize truck category,” said Adam Christoffersen, Product Manager.
The Micro Minnie fifth-wheel is equipped with upgraded features generally found in top-notch towables. A flush mount cooktop with glass cover, solid surface countertops, stainless steel sink, true gel coat fiberglass sidewalls, and plenty of large windows add to the allure of the compact fifth-wheel.
