According to a press release, KeyTV eliminates the need for splitters, jumpers, many cable connectors, and approximately 50% of coax cable, allowing for a clean, uninterrupted signal. The controller contains auto-sensing technology to distinguish between the over-the-air antenna signal and cable, eliminating the need for A/B switches.
KeyTV system simplifies installation and troubleshooting through the use of Keystone’s new color-coded coax cable standard. A single coax cable (called a home run line) is routed from the controller to each television, and all connection points are clearly labeled.
In addition the system offers easy satellite hookup and is 100% compatible with DISH, DIRECTV, Shaw, and Bell products providing satellite capability at any TV location.
Hello: I have this system and have a problem, when I hook up an cable at a campground to the RV outside connection it doesn't work, I have to run the cable through the door to the TYV and wala it does. I have been looking for the so called control box, can't find it. Any idea where it is? Almost got into a fight in Wyoming with the CG owner told me there had to be a box with a red button i told him there wasn't he said there had to be, he went all over the RV looking, almost came to blows.
ReplyDeleteNo comments for over a year on this guys ask and there is literally no documentation of any detail for the key TV system... Not happy with Keystone... So my little blue light is not on and I'm only using the OTT antenna to connect for OTT no sat or cable connected. So why is the blue light not on I get no signal so i'm assuming the booster is not functioning... How do I check that where is the controller?
