Officially opening May 25th, The WhoaZone at Heron Beach is amongst the popular growing trend of active, on-water entertainment and recreational activity at public facilities across the USA. The park provides family fun and excitement for capable swimmers, 7 years or older, and offers 1-hour sessions for $15 per person. Tickets can be purchased by visiting http://www.WhoaZoneHolly.com . Group tickets, double-sessions, private events, and birthday parties are also available. Managed by Empire Recreation Management (ERM) the park is a joint venture with the state of Michigan.
“WhoaZone at Heron Beach is our second park”, says Mike Martin, Regional Manager of ERM, “and we are confident this park will be as popular as our Whihala Beach Park in Whiting, Indiana was last summer. People love it”, he adds, “and our joint venture with the state of Michigan means we are also providing a viable revenue stream, that allows state and local governments to better provide goods and services to their constituents.”
The Holly Recreation Area off of Interstate 75, located between Detroit and Flint, is already recognized as an iconic nature-based summer activity area, and the WhoaZone will significantly increase the destination’s “wow factor” and draw new users to experience the park for the first time.
