United Shade debuts three lines of RV roller shades for manufacturers and the aftermarket

Dicor Corporation affiliate United Shade is helping both RV manufacturers and RV dealers take advantage of the popularity of roller shades with several offerings that were highlighted at the 2014 National RV Trade Show in Louisville, Ky., which ends today.

Under the company’s  “Shades of Excellence” theme, the offerings come in three designs, and can be motorized or manual, including:

• Heavy Duty (HD) options for heavy fabrics with a long traverse, available in Day/Night Motorized, Day/Night Slow Up and Night and can be motorized or manual.
• Light Weight (LT) to help shave off unit weight. Lighter than HD with a smaller mounted profile, this design is great for tight spots between valances and windows. It is available in Day/Night Motorized, Single Motorized and manual Slow Up.
• The Classic Series (CS) with an elegant retro look. It uses familiar, residential style adjustments and a no-headrail design that’s perfect for space and weight restrictions. Employs universal wall or ceiling mounting brackets and is manual only.

The program is designed to take the complexity out of the process of ordering, installing and maintaining these shades. It’s a whole new revenue stream at their doorstep.”
