First KOA campground in North America gets 'state of the art, self serve dog wash'

1000 Islands/Ivy Lea KOA Campground Installs First “Evolution Dog Wash”

Lansdowne, ON, Canada -- Dog owners traveling with their pets now have a new addition to their travel itinerary while staying at the 1000 Islands/Ivy Lea KOA. The campground has added “The Evolution Self Service Dog Wash” to its long list of amenities.

“The Evolution Car Wash” is a self serve coin/card operated dog wash allowing owners to provide their dogs with a clean, fun, safe and affordable way to clean their dogs.

For campground guests, “The Evolution Dog Wash” gives dogs the most effective quality wash at a fraction of what professional groomers cost. Dogs can be washed, de-flead/anti-iched, rinsed and dried in a matter of minutes, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at a cost of $10 per wash.

“Many of our guests travel with their dogs and consider them family. We wanted to give our animal guests a treat as well” said campground owner Susan Barton.

The 1000 Islands/Ivy Lea location is the first of 475 KOA campgrounds in North America to install “The Evolution Dog Wash”. In a unique partnering agreement, the KOA logo and color scheme will be incorporated into “The Evolution Dog Wash” signage and full color graphics.

The “Evolution Dog Wash” is most frequently used coin/credit card operated self serve dog wash in the world with more than 150 locations in the United States alone.
