VIDEO: White Water Retro by Riverside RV
It's no secret that RV manufacturers are tapping into our longing for the good old days with tiny campers adorned with all things retro.
One such little gem stopped me in my tracks at the recent Detroit Spring Camper & RV Show.
A couple of White Water Retro by Riverside RV travel trailers stuck out among the 291 other RVs in a major way. They weren't big, they didn't have any slideouts and between the two of them there was but two axles.
But they looked awesome. Shiny pewter siding with fire engine red accents were just screaming for Lucille Ball to come running out with a can of Veggiemite. Each less than 15 feet in length and weighed in at less than 2,000 pounds (total dry weight), but they packed a lot of living in their small footprint.
Not to mention they'll turn every head in the campground.
Justin O'Bryan of Vicars Trailer Sales in Taylor, Michigan, provided us with the video tour.
Riverside RV is proud to bring you their 2013 lineup of lite-weight and lite-priced White Water line of travel trailers, toy haulers and truck campers. The White Water line features several Retro models weighing in under 2,000 lbs., plus model 150 is now available with the hybrid option of adding additional sleeping room (42" x 70" mattress) without adding extra length to the trailer and still keeping it lite weight.
ReplyDeleteThere are also four Classic White Water units with two being toy hauler models allowing you to take along a few toys with rear parking in the cargo area featuring rollover sofas and plenty of space.

Our friends in the RV factory design departments haven't forgotten those of us who enjoy retro-style rigs. While some RVs are retro-memorable primarily in name - for example, the new Shasta series uses the name but none of the older styling - units like the new White Water Retro model 130 from Riverside RV are visually and technically reminiscent of classic RVs of yore. Thanks for sharing your post ans picture.
