VIDEO: Redwood 36RL Fifth Wheel with Full-Timers Warranty

One of the highlights of the 2013 Detroit Spring Camper & RV Show was the Redwood Fifth Wheel  on display by Kitsmiller RV.

Naturally, the Redwood was beyond compare. As the "new standard of luxury" (their slogan), the Redwood was loaded with the best features and amenities that money can buy (The 36RL display model was listed for about $75,000). Real wood cabinetry and Falcon Integrated Technology (code for a snazzy way of ensuring complete quality control throughout the supplier-assembly process) are just two of the many, many features that makes Redwood among the upper echelon of Fifth Wheels.

But what made this unit stand out was its warranty.

Full-timers can be fully covered under the Redwood warranty, said Ron Kitsmiller of Kitsmiller RV, who provided us a tour for the video.

Something I never realized, but apparently full-timers can't get a warranty. Often those intending to be full-timers will somehow never fully disclose their intentions so as not to void the factory warranty.

But Redwood says, bring it on. Obviously, they feel their RVs are ready for the world of full-timers.
