This unique and exciting off road truck race, in its third year, features side-by-side racing up the snow covered face of Schuss Mountain’s Good Knight run. Vehicles of all shapes and sizes will participate and the cost for competitors is $20.00 per vehicle entry.
Proceeds from this year's event, with support from the Williamsburg Welfare Wheelers, Real Rock 95.5/105.1, the National Guard of Grayling, AMO Outdoor Services, Fletch's GMC Buick Audi of Petoskey, Gaylord Ford Lincoln Mercury, and All Automotive, will again be donated to the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) and the Family Readiness Group of Northern Michigan. The DAV provides services to help our veterans, past and present and the Family Readiness Group aids families of deployed soldiers locally in Michigan.
Spectator entry fees are $7 per person per day or $10 for a two-day pass on Saturday and Sunday. Lawn chairs are recommended, and there will be an outdoor snow/bar grill providing food, drinks, and spirits. In addition Shanty Creek Resorts will be offering special lodging rates over the weekend starting at $99 per night by mentioning “Schuss Mountain Snow Challenge”. When you book ahead of time, receive two free spectator single day passes with your reservation.
