Michigan ElvisFest 2011 is alive and well

YPSILANTI (Mich.) - For those of you who have been wondering if there is going to be a 12th Annual Michigan ElvisFest in Ypsilanti this year, the answer is YES! Riverside Park will once again be the home for this unique live music event, scheduled for July 8-9, 2011. Tickets will be on sale on the website (www.mielvisfest.org) starting Jan. 1, 2011.

Organizers are already working on the format and the entertainment, and plan on having the most talented Elvis Tribute Artists from all over the country, as well as other artists and some new events to mix it up.

The Michigan ElvisFest became its own corporation earlier this year, but other than that, there are few changes to the structure of this one-of-a-kind summer festival. Organizers who have worked the event since its inception in 2000 will, for the most part, be the same organizers working on the 2011 festival. The Michigan ElvisFest is always looking for sponsors who would like to be a part of this wonderful family-friendly event - drawing people from all over Michigan, Canada, and the tri-state area.
