Kalamazoo, MI - January 10-14, 2011 will mark the first ever Kalamazoo Beer Week. The event, which will offer beer tastings, meet the brewer events and beer dinners in restaurants and retail locations throughout the city, will feature Michigan craft beer and brewers.
Organized by Imperial Beverage, the week-long event will kick-off with a beer dinner at Martinis Pizza, featuring the brewing teams and owners from Arcadia Brewing and The Livery. Attendees will rub elbows with the breweries’ elite crafters, dine on great food from the Martini’s staff, and share a love of beer over Arcadia and The Livery selections. Reservations are encouraged and can be made by forwarding your party name, contact information and number attending to rsvp@imperialbeverage.com.) The closing event will feature a beer tasting and bottle signing at Drake Party Store featuring the brewing team from Shorts, the fastest growing craft brewery in the US (up 357% over 2009) and a favorite of locals.
